Dear friends,

I would like to thank all of you for participating in the ASLI event in January. This event has definitely helped us in putting ASLI on the map when it comes to government and consumers, which will be useful for all of us as we move forward. However the consumer side we did have some misses and it was a learning experience. I would like to specially thank the management team of Bani and Moni with so many members contributing to achieve great results for the event. I am also thankful that Sister Shivani, Mr. Subramanyam and Mr. Durga Shankar Mishra contributed to the event. If anyone has any feedback please share with Bani, as this would help us improve in the coming years.

We have two meetings coming up, one with Haryana Director town and country planning for senior living regulations and DWSSC on 15th Feb on how we can further collaborate with them. If anyone wants to join the meeting or have any suggestion do share with me.

The ASLI board is going to have a meeting at the end of the month to also see where we would like to steer ASLI and what all value we can add to our members. If you have any thoughts again please feel free to share with us. We are also happy to welcome three more members who have joined us in January Dr Mamta Mittal, Seniors First, Mr. Sharad Goil, Magnus Realty & Mr. Sharad Gadsing, Urban Mystique Homes

Always keep smiling 😊

Monthly Letter January 2021 https://asli.org.in.epsilon.co.in/monthly-letter-january-2021/ Tue, 05 Jan 2021 07:14:36 +0000 http://www.asli.org.in/?p=2010

Dear friends,

Happy New year! I am sure with the vaccine being approved in India and many parts of the world we are looking forward to the year 2021. However in the last year with all the challenges I think we as senior care providers saw a large opportunity to help those seniors in need through our various products and services and I am proud of the fact that this group of entrepreneurs have a big heart. I am sure we will be businesses who exist to help the society at large and making money is an outcome of our good work.

As given an update, I had a good meeting with the STP of Haryana on senior living and now trying to meet the Director General. Even in Rajasthan there is conversation about adopting the senior living policy and we are in talks to make a difference there also. The core group continues to work hard on the exhibition from 22-24th January and some major milestones

  1. We have got 2250+ enquiries for the event and growing – trying to hit 4000+ enquiries.
  2. We have hired tele callers to have discussion with these enquiries and convince them to come for the virtual stall on the exhibition days
  3. Mr. Satya Adari helped us in getting ASLI website in action.
  4. We also started getting registry from the B2B event scheduled for 22nd of January.

I would request all ASLI members to register for the B2B event one participant per company is free. Please send the representative’s details to Bani for sending you the link. I would also request you to get others in the company to attend. Secondly to make the event a success I would request all of you to participate in the exhibition. We have come up with phenomenal pricing. Remember the success of the industry is the size of

the industry and all of you must participate. If you have any concerns please reach out to Bani or Moni.

I hope to see you all on the 22-24th and hope to get learn from each other.

Always keep smiling

For the B2C we have been able to get Sister Shivani as the inaugural speaker. I would request all of you to please participate in the B2C activity either through a sponsorship or by being part of the exhibition. The more of us being part of this event will make the event even bigger.

I also request all of you to start by liking our ASLI page on facebook and Linkedin and sharing the information about our event as and when it gets posted. The links are below.

I am sure we will have a successful event if we all participate and give our energy in the same thing. I already see the team working hard and trying to make a large difference for the senior care industry.

Dear friends,

On Monday I was able to meet with the senior town planner of Haryana to discuss our recommendations (Thanks to Mohit and Col. A Sridharan) on the policy on both senior living and assisted living. He has taken our feedback with positive light and should make some of the required changes. However another follow up meeting might be required which I have requested. Please find attached our recommendation to the STP.

Dear friends,

I am excited about finally launching our B2C online exhibition on December 12th and 13th and part of the same event we have a B2B seminar on the 11th of December followed by press conference. We are happy to partner with Unmukt for this seminar cum exhibition. I think it would be first of its kind that we would be trying to attract such a large crowd online for the senior care industry. The success of this exhibition and seminar would be dependent on your participation. I think the more of us who will participate we will be able to create a larger magnet for more consumers to come in which will benefit all of us. If you are interested in the same please get in touch with Bani or Moni.

In the B2B seminar we have invited Mr. Durga Shankar Mishra from Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, waiting for his confirmation. If anyone knows him it would be great if you can give him a push.

We are so excited so many of our members have approached DWSSC for their requirement and if you are a member of ASLI you do not need to do any other agreement with them. However please keep Bani in the loop it would help combine some requirements, the information she has will help us get better results with our partnership.

As always every month our ASLI members are growing and I would like to welcome Mr. Nithin Rajan from Ananta Living.

Always keep smiling 😊

Dear friends,

Thank you for being part of the brain storming session for the next steps for ASLI. The brainstorming really helped us to narrow down our thoughts on what to do to get value for all our members. I am attaching a to do list with this email to understand our future action plan and would encourage age all members to participate.

We also had our board meeting and the meeting was very good and had great representation and ideation with all the board members and the above to do list is the outcome of that interaction. On the CII front, even though some members had reservations due to our last collaborations with CII, we have decided to move ahead in the interest of the industry. Rajit is chairing the senior care committee at CII. He would be making sure interests of ASLI are aligned with CII and any representation to government which has interest of ASLI members would be discussed at ASLI.

Please go through the attached minutes and give me your thoughts, and if anyone wants to help in any area do reach out to me. I am also glad the ASLI family is growing and would like to welcome Dr KR Gangadharan from Heritage Foundation as our knowledge partner, Mr. Pavithra Gandharan from Kshetra & Ms Poonam Jain & Mr. Sanjay Jain from International Star Assistance Pvt Ltd as our members.
