Health requirements of a senior ranges from taking care of their wellness, to taking care of their acute and chronic illness, to recovery & rehabilitation, memory care, palliative care and end of life care. All these requirements need different resources and infrastructure to manage them.
Hospitals largely take care of the acute and chronic illnesses.Major part of recovery for the elders apart from medical support is an effective rehabilitation program along with nutritional, emotional & social support.


KSC Geriatric Care Centre (GCC) is a specialised centre where all allied support is rendered under one roof, scientifically delivered by trained medical team (doctors, nurses, therapists), driven by quality, with comfortable warm ambience to ensure optimal & desired clinical outcome. Recovery is closely monitored in GCC reducing post hospitalisation complications leading to reduction of readmissions hence reducing overall cost burden of the elders and respite for the family. The theme of the GCC is “Care of hospital, Comfort of home”.


KSC launched its first 48 bedded GCC at South Bangalore which provides transition care in the post hospitalisation scenario including post-surgery rehabilitation, short term skilled nursing care and palliative care. A state of the art GCC facility is also under construction in north bangalore which is slated to be launched in Jan 2020.
